Upcoming Events

The following are the upcoming events hosted by DPF Leading Agility.  Registration dates are noted as either open, or date of opening.

In-Person Offerings

TO REGISTER PLEASE SEND ME AN EMAIL: DPFLEADINGAGILITY [at] GMAIL.COM.

Timestamps will be used to determine first-come-first-serve.

An invoice will be sent via email, and payment (ETF, PayPal, Quickbooks credit card payment) will be required to confirm your registration.  Payment is due upon invoicing and HST (15%) is applied on top of prices.

All registrants must conduct the Covid-19 screening test the morning of the event, and follow the safety protocols as per public health regulations.  Failure to do so will result in removal of the handler/team from the event without refund, and future registrations refunded/refused.

Refunds will be provided if withdrawal is due to Covid reasons (e.g., self-isolation requirements).  Otherwise, there are no refunds unless the space can be filled (or as per UKI regulations for trials).

Agility Dogs in the Park with Dianne Ford

In these 90 minute events (5 dogs maximum), participants will have the option to run one or both nested courses in a pre-designed course (Train to Trial).  Participants may also use their turn to work on other training goals, like environment exposure, recalls, individual obstacle practice (Novice Run As You Wish).  Reinforcements of food or toys are highly encouraged during these events.   Dianne provides assistance and feedback as requested by the participants.  These are not structured workshops.  Outdoor site location is Southlands Park (between Orange Store/Dairy Queen, Cottonwood Cres, Ruby Line, and Treetop – parking on Treetop).

Novice Run As You Wish events will be for teams wishing to work on focus, equipment skills, and simple sequencing.  Advanced courses will not be available during these times.
